In March 2024, InfoTrust hosted the "Digital Trust & Transition: Navigating Through ISO/IEC 27001:2022" webinar alongside BSI Group Australia, a global leader in ISO standards.
The ISO/IEC 27002 standard, functioning as a guide for establishing controls for information risk management, has introduced significant changes in the ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The changes are a response to the new risks that have emerged from the evolving digital ecosystem, supporting organisations in their digital transformation, and the adoption of new cyber security strategies. As such, organisations under the old standard will need to transition into the new which means refreshing the controls implemented within your management system and adhering to updated information security best practices.
