Let's Get STARTED

A recently released paper from Fortinet titled: 2025 Cyber Security Skills Gap Global Research Report, highlighted some emerging trends within the industry. The report opened with a quote that accurately captures the zeitgeist. “Organisations are operating in a new cyber security “normal” where breaches are inevitable, AI is a real and present danger, and knowledge gaps are a critical liability. It’s no longer enough to try to simply mitigate risk: Organisations need to find ways to manage risk proactively on an ongoing basis.”

This new “normal” has led to an industry-wide skill shortage, wherein competent and accredited security professionals are in extremely high demand. This lack of skilled professionals leaves organisations more vulnerable to attacks, and governments have been forced to respond. Many jurisdictions have elevated cyber security to national priority status and launched measures to actively expand their cyber workforce. Closing the skill gap demands a coordinated approach that increases awareness and education, promotes training and certification, all while implementing advanced security technologies to protect digital assets.

With this skill gap as a backdrop, Infotrust has been an active participant in the recruitment field, adding 22 new hires in Q1, while simultaneously promoting colleagues internally as their experience grows. Competent professionals will always seek the best home for their talent, and here at Infotrust, we are committed to personal and professional growth, employment flexibility, and helping our people achieve the optimal work/life balance. Team morale is carefully monitored, and our People team is always ready to listen.

These recent hires have added countless years of experience to our team and reinforce our reputation as a company dedicated to the highest ethical business standards. Moving into the new calendar year, Infotrust will continue to actively recruit the most promising tertiary graduates and provide a clear career path with almost unlimited upside. More experienced recruits will be provided with the opportunity to fill leadership roles, working across critical industries and with ASX-listed market leaders, all while being supported by an organisation that rewards effort and encourages innovative thinking.
