ITWire: CrowdStrike Announces Partnership with InfoTrust in APJ Region
SaaS endpoint security vendor CrowdStrike today announced large increases to its Asia Pacific and Japan channel and partner programmes, continuing its growth in these regions.
Recently recognised by Gartner as the leading visionary endpoint security provider, CrowdStrike claims in 2017 it experienced significant expansion in its active partner base across Australia and New Zealand, and across Asia Pacific and Japan, as a direct result of customer demand for the company’s lightweight cloud-based security platform, which is claimed to rapidly protect from new threats without the traditional burden of pushing updates to client machines.
Today’s announcement sees CrowdStrike continuing to expand its footprint across APJ, tripling its channel team headcount, and making strategic appointments including additional hires to be located in Australia, India, Singapore and Japan.
CrowdStrike further announced it has more than doubled the roster of active partners, has seen a 500% increased in registered deals, and experienced a 350% increase in new business, across the APJ region.
Geoff Swaine, Channel and Alliances director, APJ, CrowdStrike, said, “The CrowdStrike Falcon platform delivers our customers and partners with the most effective endpoint protection on the market, along with best-in-class performance, efficacy, and efficiency. Our leading technology coupled with a commitment to deliver active enablement and training resources to partners have helped us drive explosive growth across APJ in the past year. We are excited to continue to strategically expand our partner footprint and relationships across the region to support customer demand and further build out our presence in APJ even further.”
Dane Meah, chief executive, InfoTrust, said, “As a specialised cybersecurity practice that combines best-of-breed controls with ongoing managed services, InfoTrust believes that CrowdStrike brings a game-changing approach to securing an organisation from cyber attacks. Following on from Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison’s announcement the morning of Friday 19th June. InfoTrust has provided advice to media outlets and the general public on what they, and Australian businesses, can be doing to protect themselves against cyber attacks. Although this is not new information to many organisations, who generally have a good understanding of the cyber threats they face. I’m excited to announce that InfoTrust has been awarded Netskope’s Emerging Partner of the year 2019.
Each year Netskope awards this to partners that deliver not only consistent customer growth but also leverage the breadth of Netskope’s solution to create ground-breaking services.
“InfoTrust has demonstrated significant customer success, solution innovation, speed to market and deployment, and innovative go-to-market strategies. The fluid nature of cloud services and user flexibility in accessing and working with customer data has resulted in massive security challenges for the enterprise. This requires new approaches and best practices — two things core to InfoTrust’s success” – Reno Maglitto, A/NZ Director of Channel & Alliances at Netskope.
We’re excited to announce that last month InfoTrust achieved CREST certified status.
The Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST) is a non-profit organisation, which assesses and certifies that an individual or business is providing security assurance services of exemplary quality, with deep understanding and knowledge of the latest vulnerabilities and techniques used by real attackers.
Although we have employed CREST certified individuals for some time now, this is an exciting step for InfoTrust as it is an additional certification achieved by utilising best-practice methodologies and the highest standards of test hygiene and conduct.
